Rolex Submariner Date 40mm Black Dial Stainless Steel Oyster Mens Watch 16610

The Rolex Submariner 16610 was released in 1988 and was powered by the brands longest serving movement, the automatic Rolex caliber 3135 with the date located at the 3 o'clock position. The watch was originally fitted with black glossy dials with T25 tritium hour markers and hands. Tritium dials were eventually phased out in the late 90s with watches being fitted with "SWISS" only dials in 1999. "SWISS MADE" dials were fitted from 2000 onwards. These later dials featured Super-LumiNova filled hour marker and hands. Early Rolex Submariner 16610s were fitted with the 93150 oyster bracelet with a folding clasp. From 2000 the 93250 oyster bracelet was fitted to the Rolex Submariner 16610.
